QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

How do we describe the perfect match? 

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical/Electronics Engineering
• Having a Master’s Degree will be an asset,
• Minimum 3 years experience in direct Schematic and PCB design, preferably in-home appliance or automotive industry experience, especially large production volumes,
• Responsible for circuit topology selection, components selection, circuit board layout, prototyping, testing, and validation of power electronics products,
• Deep knowledge of analog circuits, power circuits, and discrete components,
• Hands-on experience in power electronics hardware development,
• Experience with EMC/EMI mitigation is a plus,
• Experience with electric motor driving - UM, DC, BLDC,
• Experience in PCB design, using schematic design and layout tools, Altium Designer is a plus,
• Solid background in power electronics semiconductors and their basic principles,
• Deep knowledge of PCB/PCBAs manufacturing process, design documents and production/testing procedures,
• Good knowledge of electronic laboratory instruments, and ability to test/debug PCBAs prototypes,
• Good level of understanding of electrical control systems,
• Ability to read, understand, and implement an electronic design from a marketing specification,
• Requires a basic understanding of EN standards and IEC/UL norms for domestic appliances.
• Develop designs with minimal supervision for PCBAs controlling washing machine products. Monitor and guide PCB layout and prototyping,
• Provide professional communications skills with team members,
• Provide an electronic interface to project teams via conference calls, design reviews, site surveys, and procurement calls,
• To work closely with mechanical design, manufacturing, and supply chain to bring the product into mass production,
• To invent and create new technologies and solutions,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
• You have no objections to travel and occasionally work some days abroad,
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs,
• Previous experience with ARM-Cortex microcontrollers,
• Basic knowledge of embedded programming (C) is a plus,
• Having experience with agile software development methodologies and practices and familiar with JIRA.

As a Hardware Specialist, you will design and lead electronic card projects for the Washing Machine produc

 

What awaits you in this role?

 

We are looking for a passionate Specialist - R&D (Hardware Engineer) who will join our team at Washing Machine Product Directorate.

 

• Defining hardware requisites,
• Designing and testing electronic circuits, under DFC (Design for Component Cost), DFM (Design for Manufacture) and DFT (Design for Test) concepts,
• Working actively with multidisciplinary teams,
• Coordinating PCB Designers, Mechanical Engineers, and Embedded Software engineers for the development of modules and products,
• Testing/Debugging prototypes boards,
• Supporting Test Engineers in defining test and validation plans,
• Being responsible and acting as a technical interface when activities are outsourced,
• Monitoring suppliers' activities and analyzing test reports and project deliverables,
• Aligning with the Project Management Team, Industrial Design Team, Procurement Engineer Team, domestic or outsource Production Teams, and Production Planning Team,
• Reporting directly to Hardware Team Leader in Electronic Control System Team, and the Electronic Control System Manager.

 

 

The position is located in İstanbul, Çayırova.
