QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Research Strategy and Process Development Specialist to work at Sabancı University Research Planning and Policy Development Office.
Qualifications
- Degree (preferably master's) in engineering, business, economics or equivalent quantitative field,
- Minimum 5 years of experience in at least one of the subjects of data analytics, business intelligence, strategy development, process design and development,
- Proven ability in identifying problems on strategic issues, developing a solution-oriented methodology, conducting research/analysis and drafting reports,
- Enthusiasm in doing research, ability to quickly adapt to new topics and needs in a fast-paced working environment,
- Strong people and communication skills,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office programs,
- Experience with programming tools such as Excel VBA, SQL, Python or R is a plus,
Job description
- Monitoring research performance in line with the strategic plan by identifying data needs, reaching reliable data, carrying out analysis and reporting, contributing to the preparation and use of dashboards,
- Conducting business requirements analysis and process improvement activities to support the university’s progress towards its research strategies,
- Carrying out studies that support institutional decision-making,
- Developing new processes to support institutionalization in research management,
- Following national and international developments and best practices regarding the research processes and preparing suggestions for institutional integration,
- Preparing presentations for internal and external stakeholders and to carry out other activities that support visibility,
- Conducting other ad-hoc tasks and studies.
