QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional industry experience styling in catalog, advertising, corporate or commercial photography studio environment,
- Have strong prop/product styling ability,
- Have a strong understanding of the fashion trends,
- Creative portfolio that demonstrates styling vision, execution and technical skills,
- Ability to collaborate well with others and take creative feedback,
- Working knowledge of styling techniques, skills, equipment, and tools,
- Ability to style many different types of products without compromising quality,
- Ability to work as team member in collaborative group environment or alone,
- Proven ability to follow tight layouts, written instructions or oral directions,
- Understanding of production photography workflows, timelines,
- Good verbal, written communications and organizational skills,
- Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel,
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while being highly organized,
- Ability to work with agencies, source talent - with a professional demeanor.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Style sneakers and apparel adhering to daily shoot goals,
- Style editorial shoots for web and social,
- Maintain styling equipment and work stations,
- Maintain and organizing props,
- Source appropriate props and obtaining or producing surfaces and backgrounds that will define the “look and feel’ of the project at hand,
- Coordinate and execute propping, shopping and returns,
- Help maintain an organized and efficient studio,
- Work with team on weekly production including model and artist bookings,
- Style and produce innovative and compelling images for all marketing photo shoots,
- Preps product for photography,
- Style product on set,
- Responsible for adhering to style guide and following brand guidelines for photography,
- Repackage product as needed.
