QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a “Supplier Development Expert” for our global and multinational company, which is one of the leading companies in the automotive industry, located in Bursa with the following qualifications;

• Project experience is required
  
• Experience with automotive business is preferred
  
• Technical purchasing experience is preferred
  
• Minimum 5 years experience in Purchasing and/or SCM role
  
• Intercultural experience is preferred
  
• Fluency and great communication skills in English
  

JOB DESCRIPTION

To develop and implement purchasing strategies for assigned material groups in alignment with global cluster management and to add value for the Business Area in terms of commercial, logistical and even technical enhancements, i.e. sustainable total cost reduction, support quality initiatives for internal customers, as well as strengthening the relationship to strategic Business Partners.

• Define and align international sourcing strategies with the Global Cluster and regional purchasing Organization.
• Support implementation of Global Cluster Management Purchasing Strategies
• Establish and qualify potential supply base with the Global Cluster Management in the Region with the aim to increase BCC share and to secure localization of components at our production plants.
• Drive the Execution of Market Intelligence studies also to identify potential suppliers and ensure the ideal balance of competition and pooling
• Drive Benchmark activities between potential and current supply base, to identify cost savings opportunities by implementation of alternative source to the business. Prepare all quotes packages (Supply-On) and sourcing documentation for benchmark.
• Support local and cluster buyers to Identify, develop, and promote Global Strategic Suppliers.
• Support supplier selection for VDA 6.3 audits and development: contributes to plan and conduct supplier evaluations, assessments, and audits
• Support global sourcing projects as well as identify, initiate, and tender Projects in cooperation with the respective stakeholder
• Participate in new project introduction and project kickoff, regular project meeting
• Drive and check the implementation of Cost Value Analysis concept for negotiations, early involve suppliers and follow/introduce multiple source and Best Cost Country strategy
• Support Design-to-cost activities during product development phase
• Cooperate with the target costing and other interface functions
• Manage and develop the number of favorable Price and Framework Agreements in legal, logistical, commercial, and partly even technical terms in close alignment with cluster buyer and steer the implementation
• Ensure Compliance with Business Partner Code of Conduct and other corporate policies / guidelines
• Act and inspire colleagues to challenge the status quo in order to create sustainable solutions
• Innovate and/or create solutions to support our corporate sustainability strategy
• Ensure implementation BA standards and targets for sustainability
