We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented engineerto join us as a “Supplier Quality Engineer” within Supply Chain Department. The role is based in Sasalı İzmir.

What will be decisive:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Material, Chemical,
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong problem solving skills, Strong organizational skills
  • Understanding of supplier quality, localization and project management (experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of various quality system methodologies APQP4Wind, IMS, 8D, 5 Why’s, Pareto Analysis, Six Sigma, FMEA, PPAP, SPC etc.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, work well with diverse groups of people and be able to function independently
  • Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing and the ability to travel abroad

What will be your contributions:

  • Leading the supplier evaluation period with cooperation of the engineering, quality and sourcing teams, according to TPI & Customer expectations and requirements,
  • Leading the annual supplier audit plans through supplier performance criterias and results,
  • Conducting the requirement analysis and providing the details of the project requirements to the people involved are the primary responsibilities of an engineer handling the localization projects
  • Follow up the supplier performance, in terms of delivery, quality and contractual items. Being single point of contact to solve the major issues between the supplier and related departments,
  • Leading the supplier development program, including safety, delivery, quality and cost aspects.
  • Work with Purchasing to ensure supplier performance is regularly reported and that appropriate and timely corrective actions are implemented
  • Maintain and update critical supplier audit system and schedule
  • Conduct supplier audits to drive process standardization, waste elimination, and continuous improvement
  • Champion problem solving and root cause analysis activities with suppliers and customers to eliminate recurrence of non-conformances
  • Work to resolve supplier technical issues in a timely manner to ensure continuity of supply
  • Develop long-term supplier relationships and generate and implement cost reduction ideas
  • Strategically lead supplier performance improvement projects in an effort to increase the supplier capability.
  • Drive “Zero Defect” mentality within the supply base.
