QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Purpose of the position:
Looking to make a difference in one of the biggest global companies in agri-business (you probably have heard about our brands, Komili, Kirlangic and Salat.
In Turkey we are active in oil seeds from both the domestic market as well as import. Locally produced and imported oil seeds (Sunflower, Corn, Canola, Soybean, Flaxseed) are processed in the facilities of Bunge located in Thrace, Southern Marmara, Aegean and the Mediterranean regions. We also engage in commercial activities related to corn and wheat.
Our storage and distribution facilities are across the country as Bunge serves both international trade and domestic market needs. At our facilities, the entire operation, from unloading from the ship to loading of trucks and wagons, is carefully and fully automated.
We have some of the most well-established brands of Turkey such as Komili, Kırlangıç, Sezai Ömer Madra and Salat) and own the full Supply Chain In-house.
For our team we are looking for a Supply Chain Lead that is responsible to support the value chain integration, including raw & dry material availability, production planning, minimum finished good stock levels, warehousing & logistics to and from the customers in the whole of Turkey. In this role you will manage all inbound and outbound logistics in regards to the warehousing and transportation across all Agri and Food product categories including custom clearance (import-export) invoicing, scheduling and delivering to customers. Next to this, you need to develop, lead and execute all trade execution (bulk) and supply chain strategy (food) and plans that support future business delivery and meet Bunge Turkey financial and strategic growth objectives.
Main Accountabilities
· Total Volumes reaching above 1.5million tons (1.3 million tons agri, 0.2 mil tons food )
· Total business revenue reaching above 500mil $ and over all spent on supply chain and trade execution reaching above 20 million $ .
· Oversee Bunge and 3rd party warehousing requirements in coordination with the Agri and Food teams in compliance with the financial controls as well food safety and people safety standards.
· Implement the Bunge weekly & monthly S&OP processes and lead all the planning processes and meetings such as long-term capacity planning and the weekly 26 week Food demand forecast and production planning.
· Lead the order to delivery process and ensure clear communication between sales and commercial, industrial operations and finance (credit).
· Establish and manage a monthly scorecard to measure and report supply chain KPIs including i.e. inventory levels, OTIF deliveries, OOS and WC costs.
· Engage with procurement team to manage a transparent bidding process for all 3rd party logistics and warehousing services and conduct periodic performance review against agreed service levels.
· Utilize existing ERP systems (SAP) where possible to automate planning and reporting activities.
· Lead the Supply Chain team, developing organizational capability and structure to create a high performing team that achieves defined targets.
· Pro-actively support commercial teams in enhancing the economic returns of the business by eliminating non-value added costs and facilitating the discussions and agreements with the customer supply chain representatives
· Rigorously implement a zero incident safety culture across the Supply Chain team
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
· Graduate or higher engineering degree from any related field
· Team management skills gained at a global corporate environment for at least 10 years.
· Analytical and commercial thinking skills
· Developed SAP usage skills
· Well command on English
· Problem solving skills and highly developing organization capacity in FMCG World.
· High sense of responsibility
