QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION (Sustainability Engineer-Environmental)
A Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or another relevant engineering area, preferably a Master’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant field
Preferably experience in sustainability related field, sustainability reporting, SDGs, impact assessment, circular economy etc.
Minimum 1-2 years of relevant and professional work experience
Experience developing and implementing standards, procedures, and processes to manage ESG risks including GHG emissions and environmental management systems (Experience in ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 14064, ISO 14046 will be a plus)
Experience in circular economy business model development and Lifecycle Assessments qualification will be a plus
Experience with sustainability reporting and related frameworks (e.g., CDP, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI))
A significant level of knowledge of national and environmental standards and best practices
Able to establish and maintain good relationships within the groups
Having strong project management skills, prioritizing and managing multiple subjects and delivering commitments on time.
Fluent English speaking skills and advanced level written skills
Report writing and communication skills
Able to manage and monitor environmental projects
Experience in capturing and finding relevant measurement, methodologies, and data management approaches for GHG emissions assessment and management
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
Qualitative and quantitative research and analysis skills
Sound understanding of corporate ESG/sustainability risks across various industry sectors with particular emphasis on GHG Emissions and environmental management
