QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduated from related fields.

Minimum 5 years experience about Microsoft Windows Server management and have experience about Microsoft services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group policy etc.)

Have knowledge and min 3 years experience about VmWware virtualization technologies and virtual server management.

Experience and knowledge about Hyper converged architecture is a plus.

Have knowledge about backup technologies, backup and restore best practices and have experience about Veam Backup software.

Have Knowledege about basic network protocls such as TCP, UDP, SMTP, POP, ICMP.

Have knowledge and experience about network technologies, firewall and switch configuration.

Experience and knowledge about management of network devices such as access points, Wi-fi controllers, IP telephones.

Knowledge and experience about Office 365 is plus.

Residence in İzmit or willing to reside in İzmit



JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Server Management:

a) Management of on premise application, file and domain controller servers. Keep backup management, maintenance and patch and firmware update activites on timely basis.

b) Management of user accounts witihin active directory by following up new registration, deletion and updates.

c) Follow up event logs within the servers and take preventive and corrective actions against incidents

d) Management of virtual servers and keep maintained.

e) Management of private cloud servers and keep activites following up with the hosting company.

2. Network Management:

a) Provide zero down time running of all network hardwares by keeping preventive maintenance, update follow up and back up activties.

b) Management of internet traffic by firewall. Setting up Web filtering, VPN and Access Point connection policies. Keep reporting of all internet traffic based on legal requirements.

c) Keep comunication with telecommunication companies about keeping agreement and follow up activities.

3. Database Server and Backup System Management:

a) Management of periodic bakup activites and follow up back up and restore tests.

b) Management of Disaster Recovery Center and site to site replication activities.

4. User Helpdesk Activites:

a) Daily user support activities related with IT applications, network and hardware related problems

5. Management of IT Related Procurement and Fixed Asset Management:

a) Procurement of all IT Related service purchasing and setting agreement with IT Related services. Follow up all IT Related procurements against budget.

b) Follow up and registration of all IT Related Fixed Assets.
