QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Your Day To Day
- Supporting system engineering activities per APR 4754 compliance,
- Working with the System Design Teams and suppliers on system architecture, functionality and design to ensure the compliance against the safety, reliability and maintainability targets,
- Performing system level safety assessment such as SFHA/PSSA/SSA per SAE ARP4761 compliance,
- Performing reliability analysis using tools such as reliability block diagrams, reliability predictions,
- Performing maintainability analysis using tools such as maintainability predictions
- Compiling Safety Documentation in support of the TEI design and certification activities,
- Developing safety culture in the design organization.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- BSc/MSc in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or similar field,
- Ability to work harmoniously in a high-performance team environment,
- Capability to operate in a collaborative and cross-functional environment,
- Target-oriented with analytic problem-solving skills,
- Critical thinker and self-starter,
- Proficiency in written and verbal English,
- Understanding of the fundamentals of aircrafts systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in a similar position and/or defense industry project based experience in aircraft systems,
- Knowledge of Turbofan Engines, Turboshaft Engines or Reciprocating Engines,
- Experience in Design Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis(D-FMECA),
- Knowledge safety, reliability and maintainability standards/guidelines such as SAE ARP4761, MIL STD-882, MIL-HDBK-217, MIL-HDBK-338B, MIL-HDBK-470, MIL-STD-1629A,
- Familiarity with DO178B/C and DO254,
- Experience and familiarity in designing and/or evaluating complex aircraft system architecture,
- Experience in systems engineering & risk management,
- Knowledge of requirement management tools such as DOORS,
- Knowledge of main RAMS Software tools (PTC Windchill, Reliasoft, etc.),
- Experience planning and conducting Accelerated Stress Testing, or a willingness to learn and apply those techniques, such as Highly Accelerated Life Test processes (HALT), Reliability Enhancement Test (RET), Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS),
- Experience in MSG-3 Analysis and Maintainance Task Analysis
- Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering,
