QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a “Systems Engineer”for PDS Electronics & Electrification (E&E) Systems and Verification Group with the following skills and qualifications;
BorgWarner Izmir Plant PDS E&E Group is seeking new Systems Engineers to be a part of the team that is responsible for the development and maintenance of the electronic control unit (ECU) and its testing for vehicle electrification and electronic systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics, Computer, Automotive, Mechatronics, Control or Mechanical Engineering departments from a reputable university. Higher degree is a plus.
- Interested in hybrid/electric vehicles, inverter systems and automotive technology.
- Experience of automotive or aerospace industry in a similar position is a plus.
- Good knowledge and experience with high-level closed-loop test environments such as National Instruments HIL or dSpace HIL is a plus.
- Good knowledge and experience with virtual ECUs is a plus.
- Good knowledge of Model-Based Development Tools such as MATLAB/SIMULINK is a plus.
- Good knowledge of Scripting languages such as Python is a plus.
- Good knowledge of Automotive Software and System Development Standards (e.g., AUTOSAR, ASPICE, CAN) is a plus.
- Good knowledge and experience in test and calibration programs such as ETAS / INCA or ECU-Test is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience in requirement capture and management tool(s) (e.g., Polarion, Doors) is a plus.
- Awareness of version control and task tracking tools (e.g., Plastic, JIRA).
- Experience in customer management is a plus.
- High level of technical documentation skills.
- High level of interpersonal and team skills.
- Fluency in English is a must.
- The ability to work with remote project teams.
- Availability for national or international travel.
- Military service must be completed or be deferred at least 2 years for male candidates.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Creating test specifications and test cases/scripts to validate customer requirements.
- Developing and conducting verification/validation tests using NI HIL, DSPACE HIL, vECU SIL or other similar test environments.
- Provide expertise for investigations and problem solving techniques by using real-time data collection and analysis sessions in closed & open loop environments.
- Ensuring the delivery of documents required by the customers.
- Providing technical interface for product definition between internal teams & end customers.
- Capturing and analyzing customer requirements.
- Documenting processes and tasks.
