QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
How do we describe the perfect fit?
- Bachelor's Degree in a highly quantitative field (Industrial Engineering, Operational Research, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.) or equivalent experience. (Master’s Degree and Ph.D. is a plus),
- Having conceptual knowledge of supply chain industry methodologies and principles especially in household or similar electrical appliances,
- Having 5+ years of hands-on industry experience in Operations Research, Data Science, Supply Chain Analytics in a retail, technology, or operations environment,
- Having strong working knowledge of best practices in planning and inventory management systems,
- Having basic knowledge of software development principles and architecture,
- Having experience with large-scale, complex datasets to create/optimize predictive, forecasting, and/or optimization models (SQL and/or KNIME knowledge is a plus),
- Having willingness to study in the areas of supply chain optimization projects (forecasting modeling, disaggregation and decomposition, inventory optimization, network design and architecture) in sophisticated and complex environments including the use of simulation and modelling tools. (Knowledge of Python and/or R is a plus),
- Having excellent project management skills, including issue tracking, research, cross-group collaboration, and communication,
- Having experience in creating data driven visualizations (Qlik knowledge is an asset),
- Having experience in writing and speaking about complex technical concepts to broad audiences in a simplified format,
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs and knowledge of SAP is a plus,
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English

How will you foster the change?
We are looking for a passionate Technical Leader - Supply Chain Analytics & Data Scientist who will join our team at Supply Chain Directorate.
- Understanding Arçelik's supply chain and supply chain data; using data to drive key insights in order to drive foundational changes within the supply chain and optimize process/outputs/results,
- Connecting systems and large data sets across business units and functions to develop forecasting&replenishment models that support shifting business and market trends,
- Determining, defining, and deploying predictive/prescriptive analytic solutions to meet business requirements in forecast accuracy, inventory and stock transfer optimization, as well as other key processes,
- Creating models from large data to deliver a globally optimal approach that benefits the overall supply chain and the company,
- Supporting cross-function teams on Global Supply Chain Complexity decisions with insights gained from analytics tools and visualization from the data,
- Enabling planning as well as the implementation of inventory optimization projects,
- Building reports and dashboards and generating "ad hoc" data analysis to drive insights,
- Supporting Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) through improvements in data insights and dashboards,
- Having ownership of the project, creating a project plan, tracking project progress and hosting user group meetings,
- Giving technical guidance for analytical tools related Global Supply Chain projects.
