QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

For our R&D Department in Izmir, serving to different automotive companies around the world, we are looking for new team member as a CAD Designer.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in Machine Design Construction, or graduated Department of Technical Teacher or Bachelor's in Mechanical engineering
- Preferably 3 years of job experience in similar position
- Experience in the design of metallic parts, design plastic parts in industrial environment, preferably using CAD 3D CATIA
- Experience in specification of new components, tolerance chain calculation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Completed military service for male candidates
- Well-structured, organized, efficient and accurate working manner
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external interaction
- Able to take responsibility for own work and apply own initiative to finding solutions
- Good intercultural understanding as well as no restriction for travelling abroad
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for developing, maintaining and releasing product engineering deliverables and specifications such as: 3D Models, 2D Component and Assembly Drawings
- Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) considering manufacturing processes
- Create the BOM (Bill of Material) for all assemblies
- Design of prototypes, test fixtures, adapters
- Supporting R&D Project Engineers located globally
- Transferring CAD Models and Drawings to customers, suppliers and plants globally
- Clearly follow PDM rules and procedures to archive CAD documents
