QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Established in 1965, Yapı Merkezi is the regional leader in turn-key road and rail construction projects. Yapı Merkezi IDIS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Yapı Merkezi Holding and specialised in design, development, integration, and application of signaling, telecommunication and other E&M systems.

We are expanding the activities at our Department of Industry and Technology approved R&D Center in Istanbul and looking for productive and enthusiastic professionals to join our P&D and Integration Engineering team. Our R&D Center develops rail signaling, traffic management, SCADA, structural health monitoring and revenue collection systems for national and international markets using cutting-edge tools and techniques.

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our team as a part of our growing organizations with the following qualifications:

Job Summary

Our Signalling Project Management department is responsible for technical management of Interlocking Product applications including design, customer-oriented configuration, system integration, testing and commissioning activities. The position requires technical knowledge to understand design variations of the generic product into different type of applications such as mainline tram or depot. He / She has an experience on projects consist of large sets of requirements belongs to different sub-systems is key factor to reach successful integration and delivery. Project Manager ensures and track that the project maintains in defined timeline/budget/scope.

List of tasks, responsibilities, and end results to be achieved:

  • Project management experience delivering on complex projects requires management of multidisciplinary teams, sub-contractors, and customers.
  • Manage variety of internal and external stakeholders, eliminating non-value-added activities and blockers in order to find solutions to accelerate project delivery within target budget.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to deal with customers, suppliers, and other parts of the business to reach most beneficiary solution,
  • Control and update project program and budget periodically.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Control and Automation or Mechatronic Engineering domain,
  • 5-10 Years of work experience at least 3 years in Project Management,
  • Familiar with PMI Methodology, PMP is desired,
  • Advanced level of English both written and spoken,
  • Experienced on low voltage automation systems and products,
  • Signalling system experience is considered as an asset,
  • Can be coordinated installation and test & commissioning activities,
  • Shall be able to understand system-subsystem interface concepts,
  • Knowledge about safety critical systems, functional safety and fail-safe design principle and is preferrable,
  • Advance user of MS Project and MS Office tools,
  • Represent the Company in front of Customer and project stakeholders,
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills,
  • Shall maintain effective and timing cautious performance under pressure,
  • Willingness for domestic travel,
  • Punctual and precise.
