The Ass.Tech.Serv.Specialist, Logistics is responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory control, or storage of products in Technical Service Center. To help Mako/Airo Engineers for installation/de-installation and transportation. Collection of defective and delivery of repaired equipment & accessories to customer. Loaner inventory control. General repair activities in repair center same as other TS team members.
• Manages Loaner inventory and tracks the device locations and conditions. Perform quality tests for incoming Loaners from customer side and fill related forms. Repair the loaners arrives with defects.
• Troubleshooting for incoming products and repair the systems within warranty or approved by customer when he/she is in th office.
• Follows calibration dates of equipments/fixtures that in use for repairs.
• Performs spare parts stock counting in required frequencies.
• Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; may work out of a Service Center.
• Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting.
• Follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements.
• Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment.
• (un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc.
Work Experience/Qualifications
• Associate Degree from a Technical University (Graduate of Biomedical Device Technologies of Universities preferred.)
• 2+ years’ experience in similar or customer facing position preferred.
• Technical aptitude to be trained
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Good computer skills
• Fluent and skilled in local language as well as at least basic level of English
