QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant departments (Economics, Business Administration, Finance)
- Good knowledge of Turkish tax legislation and generally accepted accounting principles
- 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable
- SAP Knowledge is a must
- Good command of English
- Advanced coordinating, organizing and communicating skills
- Tolerance to work under stress, self-starter, self-motivator
- High level of empathy and convincing ability
- Follow up changes and updates in tax legislations and IFRS; analysis of their impacts on the company and timely implementation; informing related departments about the changes
- Perform and support some closing tasks in the Accounting department
- Follow up and control of the payables accounts
- Perform invoice verification process of supplier invoices
- Issuing return, correction of mistaken amount and price difference invoices with suppliers
- Perform invoice verification process of vehicle costing related invoices and customs broker's services fee
- Perform invoice verification process of freight invoices
- Perform reconciliation with suppliers
