The first phase of the Istanbul Airport, which is the largest infrastructure project in the history of the Turkish Republic, opened for service on October 29, 2018; since April 6th 2019, the airport is operational with all units and at full capacity. Covering an area of 76.5 million square meters, the new airport serves as a global hub between Asia, Africa and Europe.

Istanbul Airport is 35 kilometers away from the city center. The construction is planned to be completed in four phases, within the scope of the first phase, Istanbul Airport operates with five runways, 3 independent and two standby runways, a terminal building and air traffic control tower with a capacity to serve 90 million passengers. Once all phases of the airport are operational, the facility is expected to achieve a capacity of 200 million passengers. IGA’s main aim is to make Istanbul Airport one of the most important hubs of the world.

Responsibilities

· Guide/advise travelers to/from China/Pakistan about “Chinese/Pakistani Friendly Services”.

· Be visible at strategic advised places during customer journey of travelers to/from China/Pakistan.

· Guide passengers or accompany to their requested location (Gate, Restaurants, Prayer rooms, Passport control etc)

· Interact with passengers to highlight Istanbul`s location as a tourism destination for Chinese/Pakistani travelers.

· Guide Non-Chinese/Non-Pakistani travelers travelling to China/Pakistan about China`s/Pakistan's touristic sites and route options to Chinese/Pakistani cities from Istanbul Airport.

Qualifications

· Possess a minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (Aviation, Economics, Tourism Industry, Business Administration, International studies)

· Strong communicator

· Native China/Urdu , fluent in China/Urdu and English. Other language skills is seen as an advantage.

· Passion for aviation, have international mindset and understanding for cultural differences.

· Shall have basic knowledge about Turkey`s and China`s/Pakistan's tourism potential.

· Smiling and Service minded person – is willing to go an extra step to guide / help the passengers.

· Preferred experience as Guide in travel industry or worked in sales & marketing in tourism industry.

· PC literate with strong skills in MS Excel & PowerPoint
