QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement automation frameworks, test suites and tools to meet business needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability
- Create and execute test scripts, record defects, analyze test results and make appropriate modifications or create new test suites as required
- Configure and maintain automated testing environments
- Participate in troubleshooting and triage of build or application issues with Dev teams to identify the root cause and provide resolution
- Research, test and implement additional tools of value to the Automation Framework
- Responsible for applying quality best practices using comprehensive test data and adherence to automated testing processes/methodologies
- Responsible for source code control and software release activities for automation framework
Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer
- Experience with agile methods and/or scrum framework
- Experience in continuous integration or continuous delivery environments
- Test cases automation and documentation experience
- Software development experience in Java/Python
- Hands-on experience in working with tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Postman, Appium, Jmeter, Junit/TestNG, Jira
- Knowledge of version control systems (like Git)
- Hands-on experience profiling web pages and mobile apps
- Experience in transforming use cases into performance scripts using industry standard tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter and Gatling is a plus
- Experience using industry standard APM tools such as NewRelic, AppyDynamics, DynaTrace is a plus
- Experience with using virtual environments, source control, remote development, issue tracking, product build and installation is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Very good command of English
