About the Role
As a Software Developer in Test (SDIT) you will be working out of our Turkey Office and collaborate with our QA Team in Canada!
At SmartTrade, the Quality Assurance team’s mission is to create quality solutions by validating a wide array of projects. Our emerging technologies create transformational results for clients around the globe.
Together, we will apply modern testing methodologies to software systems. Your experience building and maintaining test suites and platforms using industry standard test automation and build tools will aid in the success of the team. We will work together to design, develop, test and maintain the project using Java, JavaScript and Python.
What You'll Be Doing
· Design and develop automated software to test applications on a number of platforms
· Analyze requirements to generate test scenarios, scripts and overall test architecture
· Collaborate with the team to define test scope and strategy
· Execute manual test cases
· Use test frameworks such as Selenium, Gauge, QF-Test, JMeter or Cucumber
· Define quality and risk metrics for communicating the quality of product
· Communicate effectively with colleagues and internal clients
· Design and implement technical solutions to increase testing productivity and test coverage
What's Required
· Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts
· Proficiency in Java, Python or JavaScript
· Knowledge of coding standards, source control, build management, issue tracking and testing methodologies
· Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Git, Jira
· Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
· Strong collaboration and communication skills
Nice to Have
· Knowledge of general QA procedures and methodologies, including development fundamentals
· Familiarity with API testing, backend validation, stress & load testing
· Familiarity with Postman, Swagger
