QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Rieter is the world’s leading supplier of systems for short-staple fiber spinning. Based in Winterthur (Switzerland), the company develops and manufactures machinery, systems and components used to convert natural and man-made fibers and their blends into yarns. Rieter is the only supplier worldwide to cover spinning preparation processes as well as all four end spinning processes currently established on the market. To further strengthen our growing Service Operations; we are looking for a:
TEXTILE TECHNOLOGIST
to be located in our branch in Kahramanmaraş, Turkey.
Key responsibilities of the role will be:
- Visiting customers, developing solutions for optimizing Rieter products in the field together with partner customers
- Analysis of alternative solutions for customer needs
- Tests of specific machines / upgrades at customers (e.g. compacting devices, new features etc.)
- Gathering of customer requirements
- Analysis of impact of settings on the whole spinning chain
- Documentation and reporting of trials and experiments in analytical format, regular exchange with the relevant team
Key Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree preferably in Textile Engineering
· Additional business and/or project management education is an asset
· Several years of professional experience in spinning mills or textile machine manufacturing
· Good understanding of Spinning Textile Technology
· Very good knowledge of English is a must, knowledge of German is an asset
