The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for:
o Accounts Payable transactions
o Reconciling and recording employee expense reports
o Receipting payments received
o Sending and reconciling customer statements including documentation of any customer follow-up
o Creating and printing sales invoices for domestic and export shipments
o Preparing daily bank reconciliations
o Performing routine accounting activities
o Data entry
o General reception duties including customer service/answering phones/couriers/mail/ faxing/scanning/etc.
o Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
o Required to be fluent in Turkish and the ability to communicate in English considered an asset
o Detail-oriented and comfortable with competing priorities
o Enjoys work that can be sometimes repetitive
o Minimum one-year previous accounting experience
o Looks for opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy by standardizing procedures
o Exceptionally well organized
o Broad understanding of standard accounting principles
o Excellent time management skills
o Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
o Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365 Software considered an asset
