QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of university degree specializing in mechanical engineering area,
- Good/ very good command of verbal and written English is must (German as a second languageis an asset),
- Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing equipment design,
- Having knowledge of SAP R/3 is an asset,
- Good knowledge of the CAD system CATIA V5,
- Resilience, flexibility and innovation,
- A high degree of teamwork for collaboration,
- Progressive and goal-oriented way of working,
- Able to work in Izmir,
- Military service must be completed for male candidates.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Development and redesign of fixtures, tools and special machine equipment within the framework of general guidelines, as well as internal and external manufacturing regulations for the manufacturing of aircraft parts,
- Develop and evaluate draft solutions while taking into account functionality, material science, manufacturability and economic aspects and coordinate them with the internal and external customers / suppliers. If necessary, present selected alternatives in a detailed manner,
- Carry out investigations into function, construction and system design then select / modify tooling and other machine parts accordingly,
- Modification and optimization of manufacturing equipment and manufacturing processes. Develop and implement any kind of measures in order to optimize manufacturing processes while considering existing construction documents,
- Implement modification results in technical documentations (e.g. parts lists, manufacturing drawings, user manuals, etc.) while considering internal part numbering system and product-specific features. If necessary, creating new technical documents,
- Technical knowledge for complex calculations of strength, geometric dimensioning / tolerancing concept, and weight of the manufacturing equipment to be constructed. Evaluate results and then adapt selected solutions by involving all stakeholders.
