QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Translator and Interpreter in English language to be employed full-time at The Koç School.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduated from Translation and Interpretation / Translation Studies departments
- At least 5 years of interpretation (simultaneous/consecutive) and written translation experience
- Fluent in both Turkish and English
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and proper diction
- Good command of office programs and cloud technologies, knowledge of SDL Trados Program Applications and Simultaneous Conference System usage, competence in online conference systems
- Meticulous, systematic and organized
- Successful in time management
- Inclined to teamwork
JOB DESCRIPTION
- To provide services in the field of bilingual communication at The Koç School by conducting bilateral translation and interpretation between English and Turkish languages,
*To translate all publications within the school such as administrative and academic documents, reports, procedures, announcements and presentations from English to Turkish and from Turkish to English
*To provide consecutive and simultaneous interpretation services in all bilingual meetings such as workshops, ceremonies, conferences, seminars, parent meetings, faculty/level meetings and similar events organized within the school.
