QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Türk Telekom International is a leading telecommunication operator in the CEE region, Turkey, Caucasus, Middle-East and Asia. Türk Telekom International provides a full range of Internet/data services, infrastructure and wholesale voice services to incumbents, alternative carriers, mobile operators, cable TV companies, Internet service providers and corporate customers.

Main Purpose of Position:

• Strong co-operation with NOC team for service quality by keeping transmission systems up and running in a 7*24 environment
• Able to solve incidents out of business hours on call basis
• Perform operation and maintenance activities related to hardware(DWDM, SDH, Fiber, Router, Switch, Server) installation, configuration and interconnectivity
• Perform preventive monitoring on sites/network devices and take actions in case of problems
• Work with national/international technical departments and project managers
• 1st level of onsite/remote support to customers and technical departments
• Develop link capacity planning (F/O, SDH)

Key Responsibilities of Position:

• Plan, install, test customer devices/services on site and provide remote support to field technicians
• Able to work with 3rd party providers on solving problems during incident or implementation
• Able to use test tools (SDH, DWDM, Ethernet)
• Ensure the performing and controlling of periodical maintenance activities via field technicians
• Perform periodical site visits
• Inventory management of technical equipments.
• Get access permission to sites for field technicians
• Keep documentation up to date and prepare weekly/monthly reports
• Ensure customer satisfaction
• Follow up latest transport technologies

Required skills and competencies:

• Graduated from Electrical/Electronics, Electronics, Electronics&Communication, Computer Engineering Departments
• 1-2 years of experience in Telecommunication industry
• Know-how on Switching and IP routing protocols
• Know-how on Fiber, SDH, DWDM (Nokia & Huawei) systems
• Know-how about RPA (Robotic Process Automation)
• Technical competence on network quality
• Problem solving skills
• MS office applications
• Strong communication skills
• Good team player and motivation for self development
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Able to travel and have driving licenses
• Military service completed for male candidates.
