QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description:
Apti is seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer to join their highly collaborative, growing team, to develop their skills and make an impact.
Apti is one of the leading providers of property management software solutions.
Responsibilities:
* Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, the voice of
the customer, user journeys, customer feedback, and usability findings
* Quickly and iteratively create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, low and high fidelity
mockups
* Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and
attractive user interfaces
* Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigational components and
informational components
* Creating original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
* Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
* Communicate with product and engineering teams, as well as business stakeholders
and executive leadership
* Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in
order to enhance user experience
Qualifications:
* Background in design, fine arts, engineering or related field
* Prior experience as a UI/UX Designer as well as a strong portfolio of related projects
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)
* Proficiency in prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, etc.
* Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus
* Paying strong attention to detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics
* Having excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas, designs,
and suggestions
* Being a strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
* Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
* Proficiency in verbal and written communication in English.
* Ready to relocate to the USA in future.
* Has done military service or no immediate obligation in at least 2 years for male
candidates.
* Positive team player, keen to work collaboratively and share ideas
Advantage Skills:
* Experience in working with front end development
* Experience in mentoring junior designers is a plus
* Experience of working in a Scrum Team and an Agile environment
* No degree is required but having an artistic mindset is must
