ABAX-TCI is an engineering & manufacturing company supplying equipment in the field of steelmaking. The main business is concentrated on billet & bloom or slab casters, and copper mould production.

We are looking for ''Production Engineer'' candidates to work at ABAX-TCI ALOSBI Facility in Aliaga.

Job Description Summary

The production engineer provides technical leadership for multiple operations. In this role, you will work with both new and existing products in collaboration with experienced teams to identify production steps and solve technical problems. This role has a direct effect on short-term and some long-term business goals. The role requires horizontal partnership with design, production, sourcing, and quality to ensure robust technical solutions for the customer.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, or other related disciplines,
Minimum 2 years of experience in the casting sector,
Proficient in 2D &3D design programs such as Solidworks / Autodesk ACAD, Autodesk Inverter & ANSYS, etc.,
Experience in the development and design (3D-CAD modeling and drawings) of new products,
Experience in sand casting, centrifugal casting or permanent mold casting,
Excellent command of spoken and written English,
Analytical mindset with strong planning and self-learning skills,
Available for international travels in case needed,
Able to drive a car,
No military obligation for male candidates,
Will be able to reside in Aliaga or Izmir region.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

Transfer of concepts into detailed designs, creating 3D models and drawings,
Define process parameters and methods to work most efficient conditions for all processes at the plant,
Preparation of draft solutions under consideration of functional, material, and manufacturing technology,
Simulation of designed products,
Present and discuss new ideas in the design stage,
Responsible for technical feasibility for new and running part changes, supporting fixture design team, and releasing new tooling in production,
Following manufacturing, assembly, and start-up phases of designed products to ensure quality and functionality,
Contributing to various improvement projects,
Provides support technically to production, quality, maintenance, and machining teams.
