QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

QUALIFICATIONS

•Bachelor’s degree with a focus on data mining, statistics, mathematics, industrial engineering and/or computer science,

•Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their real-world advantages/drawbacks is a plus,

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams and reporting findings in a clear and structured manner,

•Good time-management, problem solving, organization and analytical perspective,

•Positive mindset and dedication to continuous learning & improving skills,

•Proficiency in using MS Office, SQL and at least one of the following tools: python, R, SPSS,

•Candidates who have received minimum requirement score on TOEFL, YDS or IELTS examination within the past 2 years and can document it, will be exempted from DenizBank’s English test. (TOEFL 75,YDS 80, IELTS 6.5),

•At least 2 year deferred or no military obligation for male candidates.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Junior Data Scientist you will learn and develop in a dynamic team and help us discover information hidden in vast amounts of data, scale our analytic and visualization capabilities and help us make smarter business decisions.

First year of your career in Deniz, you will go through Data Scientist Training Program, designed in cooperation with sectors’ best players by Deniz Academy.

We will support you by providing learning and development opportunities such as courses on the following topics:

· Data Structure and SQL

· Statistical Analysis

· Business Analytics

· Machine Learning in python & R

followed up by workshops, case studies and seminars and lectures from university academic staff guest speakers.
