QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
If you’re passionate about SEO and Web Development with a full understanding of Wordpress, with minimum 2 years experience, and enjoy developing your SEO skills, we’re looking for you!
Responsibilities
· Develop new websites based on the digital marketing strategy
. Maintain technical and digital support for the existing websites
· Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
· Participate in inter-team meetings to discuss and recommend strategies that influence creative direction and overall website updates
· Collaborate with our SEO expert weekly to build custom solutions for our enterprise brand
· Collaborate with our design team to give/take briefs on necessary UI elements needed to implement in WordPress
· Implement SEO tactics (on-page & off-page) and ensure that sites are search-engine-friendly
· Measure and track site ranking factors, keywords, internal and external links, site content and competitors
· Monitor the performance of our SEO strategies and provide recommendations for ongoing optimization.
Must Have
Proficiency in:
· Effective team collaboration skills,
· Both writing and speaking English fluently,
· WordPress plugin, theme and landing page development,
· Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript & jQuery,
· Understanding of WordPress coding standards,
· Build websites and landing pages in basic HTML, in PHP, and in WordPress
· Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc,
· Good understanding of template structure and support, including Visual Composer type editors;
· Experience with Google Search Console Tool, Google Analytics
· Medium level of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and SEO tools.
Good to Have
Some experience in:
· Experience with web servers e.g. Nginx, Apache, Cpanel, Google Cloud Server
· Experience of writing/blogging/public speaking and/or community contributions.
· Experience in implementing a tagging structure for measurement with Google Analytics; an understanding of how to deploy custom tracking scripts via Google Tag Manager a definite plus
