QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
NUN YOUNG TEACHERS PROGRAM
NUN Schools started its educational activities in 2014 with primary school and continued by opening a middle and high school in 2016. It strives to raise good-willing people. NUN Schools, which is fully authorized by the International Baccalaureate (IB) at all school levels and received the title of continuum school, continues to contribute to improving the education quality of our country with its growing qualified staff. For this purpose, we will start the Young Teachers Program for teachers who have built their future in teaching and dedicated themselves to raising qualified generations for our country and nation.
Young and talented teachers who successfully pass all stages of our application process will be eligible to participate in the 2-month program. During the program, we will provide general training on professional values and branch-based training. Participants will also gain experience by being involved in the application. Our mentor teachers will accompany you in the program, which will give you a broad perspective. Candidate teachers who successfully complete the program will start working at NUN Schools in the 2022-2023 academic year.
Program Calendar:
- November 15 - January 21 Acceptance of Applications
- January 24 - January 28 General Ability Test
- January 31- February 4 Video Interview / Lecturing
- February 7 - February 18 Evaluation of Videos
- February 21 - February 25 Personality Inventory / English Test (optional)
- March 1 - March 11 HR Interview
- March 14 - March 18 Making a Proposal
Who Are We Looking For?
- Having graduated from Faculties of Education of universities in Turkey or abroad,
- Newly graduate or with a maximum of 2 years of work experience,
- Having Turkish and English as mother tongue, if educated abroad,
- Young teachers who are; Excited for the teaching profession,
- Ability to establish strong relationships with all generations,
- Ability to be a team member,
- Being good at Microsoft Office programs,
- Having knowledge of current developments in the field,
- Benefiting from technology while working,
- Curious to learn, open to development and visionary,
- Having a sense of responsibility,
- Confident in planning and organizational skills,
- Having a high English language level,

Areas of Work:
At the end of the program, prospective teachers will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in the classroom and the school, especially in class observation, in terms of putting the trainings received into practice. Prospective teachers will also have the opportunity to experience the following areas in different places and classrooms:
- Participation in planning studies
- Material development
- Homework preparation and evaluation
- Giving feedback
- Lesson preparation
- IB Fundamentals
- Classroom Management
- Project Management
The courses are designed with a content that will prepare you for teaching in terms of the MoNE curriculum as well as the approach of an international educational institution.
