As we continue to develop our activities, we are delighted to offer a unique opportunity to join our organisation as an Accountant for our developing operations. The position is located within our Istanbul, Maltepe office in Turkey:
Job Description:
- Carries out accounting records and control the accuracy of transactions and valuable documents (invoices, bank transactions, collection documents, approved expense sheets, tax documents, payment documents etc.),
- Does payments to suppliers as per company rules,
- Follows up on the approval procedure for the company expenses and invoices,
- Creates monthly, quarterly, yearly local and group management reports without any delay or mistake,
- Creates local tax and other tax declaration forms,
- Supports cost control of the company,
- Does necessary accruals before the month-end closings,
- Issues client invoices in time,
- Implements and follows up knowledge about ZIG and Magnitude,
- Shall perform other tasks and duties related to his position as assigned by his first-line manager,
- Complies with Bureau Veritas Corporate standards and BV 3 Absolutes (Safety, Ethics, Financial Control).
Requirements:
- University Degree,
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience,
- Experience in finance and accounting ERP tools (SAP, Oracle etc.) and Excel,
- Excellent command of English verbal and written
