Accounting & Reporting Specialist-General Accountant
As an Accounting & Reporting Specialist-General Accountant, you will provide financial and control expertise to the General Accounting_R2R, Global Business Services, Finance Operational Services in Istanbul, Turkey, benchmarking KPIs while working with other finance professionals to understand the drivers of financial performance, identifying trends relevant to the business. In this role you will study business performance, including financial modelling to forecast the impacts and risks, and recommend areas for continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities:
- Making monthly company credit card reconciliations with the personnel,
- Arrangement and archiving of physical incoming expense forms,
- Recording all e-invoices related to personnel costs and issuing return invoices (traffic ticket ft, car rental ft, etc.),
- Monitoring and recording of personnel cash advance, expense payments,
- Making weekly expense-advance matching and checking payment lists,
- Follow up of KKEG expenses and SAP posting transactions,
- Preparation of salary deduction lists,
- Execution of daily personnel expense operations (via mail, teams, wire), making expense records, answering questions about expense documents and statement of expenses,
- Preparing the gross up report from SAP in a standard format,
- Preparation of domestic travel allowance days report for payroll in standard format by taking from SAP.
Your background:
- A bachelor’s degree in relevant, min 3 years in experience in accounting,
- Having knowledge of general accounting,
- Having a good command of the Uniform Chart of Accounts, able to control the balance sheet, interpreting the Balance,
- Sheet and Income Statement,
- Having a good command of SAP and English,
- Competent in Personnel Accounting Operations in SAP.
This role will be 1 year contract.
