TELUS International is looking for an Accountant in Istanbul, Turkey.
Our requirements:
- Have a university degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years experience in Accounting
- Good knowledge of Turkish fiscal law
- Fluent in English
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
- High reliability, excellent analytical and communication skills, flexibility
- Excellent reporting knowledge, ability to report daily/weekly/monthly
- Ability to learn quickly and handle complexity, change and ambiguity
Your responsibilities:
- Responsible for the accounting (supplier and client invoices, bank statements, petty cash, travel expenses, bookings related to month end closing) for our Turkish company including 2 branches
- Preparation of monthly and yearly closings
- Issuing of client and intercompany invoices
- Bank and Cash Transactions
- Reconciliation of all accounts (supplier, client, salary etc.)
- Communication with external auditors, tax consultants, tax office, other institutions
- Close collaboration with Payroll Accounting and Group Controlling
- General administrative tasks (mail handling, petty cash)
