Job Responsibilities:
Maintaining bank records of Arkem Chemicals B.V.
Checking incoming invoices and entering into the system
Following and filing of accounting documents
Issuance and issue of invoices, debit, credit notes
Tracking and declaration of receivable insurance
Accounting for other insurance transactions
Document preparation and assignment processes in receivable finance processes
Filing and processing of sales, purchasing according to European regulations in accordance with EU VAT filling
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of general accounting experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field, and five years accounting experience, preferably with an international company
Experience with preferably SAP or similar ERP software suite, prior experience with SAP is a strong plus
Advanced MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.
Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
Organized and detail-oriented.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in entering financial data
Ability to accurately and efficiently analyze data.
Experience in an organization preferably in Europe and being familiar with EU regulation.
Understanding of accounting principles and current financial legislation.
