QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

As part of our growth strategy and our plans to establish Breeding Teams for our Vegetable Business Unit, we are looking for anAdministration Manager forKWS Türk - Breeding Station Vegetables inAntalya, Turkey. As an Administration Manager you will be acting as the point of contact regarding the handling of organizational, administrative, and financial affairs of the Breeding team in Antalya. You will report to the Head of Breeding within the Vegetables business unit of KWS. This position isfull-time andpermanent.

Key duties:

  • You are in charge of office and facility management.
  • You scan and archive invoices from suppliers and clients and record classification of expenses/investments (GL account /investment number) based on group standards.
  • You ensure logistics (import /export) coordination and offer support whenever needed.
  • You take care of contract management, and support back-office activities and the local HR administration for vegetables division. You will also act as a PoC for the local IT support.
  • You coordinate and ensure the quality of bookings in line with budgeted accounts in the quarterly closing in coordination with business partners and BU Controlling.
  • You manage AP& AR processes, making sure to keep contact with suppliers and accrual management, in coordination with GTC AP & AR teams.
  • You review and monitor local tax declarations in coordination with global functions in the future.
  • You oversee costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation
  • You monitor I/C activity, recharges of services and intercompany income.
  • You support procurement process and the purchasing of new material with budgetary constraints in mind.


Key Skills:

  • Successful completion of Bachelor's degree in Business administration or a related field.
  • Several years of professional experience as administration manager.
  • Experience in accounting is a big plus.
  • Knowledge on Turkish labor law and local tax regulations is a preferred.
  • Turkish GAAP / IFRS experience / knowledge is advantageous.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • High level of self-organization and initiative-taking and critical mindset.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Turkish.
