QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an “Air Freight Product Manager” to be assigned to our Company operating in İstanbul Office. The qualifications required of suitable candidates for the position are listed below;
Requirement/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Economics, or related,
- Minimum 15+ years of airfreight forwarding experience,
- Strong command of the English language both verbal and written,
- Experience participating in the creation of strategic planning initiatives,
- Proven ability to establish or enhance air import/export operational functions,
- Results oriented with the drive to grow an international airfreight forwarding business,
- Good computer skills and knowledge of MS Office programs,
- IATA Dangerous Goods Certificate(prefferred),
- Having a driving licence and ability to travel.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the provision of air transportation intermediary services to customers,
- Develop, implement, and continuously enhance airfreight import/export operational procedures,
- Map company process flows and continuously review to identify efficiency gains,
- Establish and manage relationships with overseas agents and also local partners,
- Lead negotiation of rates and contracts with partners and airlines,
- Develop and execute a sustainable business plan and sales strategy for the air freight market that ensures the attainment of the Company’s sales goals,
- Help resolve issues with airlines,overseas agents and also domestic partners,
- Stay current with developments and changes in applicable rules and follow up market closely,
- Oversee compliance with applicable regulations, other requirements and filings, and company standards,
- Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and continuous development of best in class airfreight import/export talent.
