QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description
The Airfreight Specialist takes responsibility for owned export and import files in accordance with the "one file one operator" principle. These responsibilities are on door to door basis and include managing pick up and delivery operations, creating Hawb and receiving import files, taking carrier bookings for export, following flight status, coordinating shipment follow up with own customers and DGF offices, creating / controlling the cost and revenue items of the file. Also tracks customer quotation requests and prepares customer quotations. She/he is responsible for GP growth and optimization on file level.
Knowledge Skills and Experience
· Extensive knowledge of Airfreight operations
· Good administrative skills
· Good commercial and financial mindset
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Fluent both in written and spoken English
· Can-do spirit and pragmatic thinker with level of detail and multi-tasking skills
· Self-confident and ability to maintain strong relationships
· Bachelor degree
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
· At least 3 years of experience in Airfreight operations
· No military obligation for male candidates
· IATA dangerous goods certification (preferred)
· Ability to work with flexible working hours if needed
