QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
A Group/AKIM METAL is searching for a R&D Engineer for Systems Testing to be employed in Tuzla Plant.
Qualifications
- BSc/MSc degree in one of the Electrical and Electronics, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Computer Science or relevant
- 2-5 years of experience in ‘Test Engineering’ for embedded electronic development or high level System Integration testing.
- Knowledge of, and practical experience in, modern testing methods/tools and paradigms;
- Able to interpret UML diagrams for test development,
- Experience in graphical programming preferably with Labview,
- Familiarity with Systems Engineering tools (DOORS, Enterprise Architect etc.)
- Familiarity with IEC/EN 61800, IEC61508, EN 61000,EN 60204 and relevant ISO standards.
- Experience with Servo Drive, electronic automation tools and their testing method is a plus,
- Fluent in English,
- Live/willing to live in Istanbul Anatolian region,
- Analytical and Result-oriented thinking,
- Motivation and enthusiasm, intercultural awareness, team player,
- Understanding manufacturing methods, tools and/or environments,
- Identify complex problems, root causes and follow the path of systematic problem-solving technics, risk assessments; proposes problem solutions with design groups; implementation under supervision,
- Working under limited supervision
Job Description
- Create System Integration Plan and Test Plan for the assigned projects,
- Create and run test cases and procedures to verify System Requirements and Interface Definitions (communication issues, power and control board interfaces, related digital links etc.)
- Defining link between tests and test requirements ensuring requirements traceability
- Create test reports and issue tracking records in case of a failure detection,
- Create and manage integration boards such as power circuit and control board of servo drives, PLC and motion controllers for development activities with too many and distributed stakeholders (production, quality, test and evaluation teams)
- Create automated test setup to make the tests repetitive for different product ranges and the variants of the designed system,
- Technically supervises small teams in complex activities.
