QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team atSheraton Grand Istanbul Atasehir. Here are the qualifications we seek:

· University degree (Tourism and Hotel Management is preferable)

· Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position

· 5-star chain hotel experience in Front Office (Marriott / Sheraton branded hotel experience is preferable)

· Excellent command of English

· Excellent command of MS Office applications and Opera PMS

· Having a directive management approach for his/her own team

· Solid communication, problem solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills

· Energetic, positive, passionate and who loves own profession

· Team player

· No military obligation for male candidates


JOB DESCRIPTION

Your role will be to lead and manage all sections of the Front Office Department in order to ensure the highest standards, monitoring the Front Office employees to make sure all guests receive prompt and personal recognition. The key responsibilities of the position will be to:

· Achieve customer satisfaction and rooms revenue goals by supervising Front Office employees.

· Supervise and participate in the prompt and courteous check-in, check-out and servicing of guests.

· Manage front desk operations effectively.

· Taking care of the front desk operation including guest registration, room assignment and check-out procedures.

· Assist in the recruitment and hiring of the most qualified applicants to meet the needs.

· Train, coach and manage all staff working in the front office department.

· Be responsible for all payment flows of the front desk.

· Check that discounts, billing instructions, and credit policies are followed, and takes action when needed.
