QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for the Front Desk Manager who reports directly to the Front Office Manager and is responsible for supervising the receptionists, operators and bell team.

  • Minimum 1 year or more of experience in a similar role in a chain hotel Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language,
  • University degree (Tourism and Hotel Management is preferable)
  • Solid communication, problem solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to multi-task
  • Excellent overall communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of front office operations, including cashier and reception
  • The ability to work well in a team environment
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Professional appearance and demeanour
  • Good at Opera PMS system
  • Must be able to manage and work overnight shifts.


İŞ TANIMI

  • Operate the Front Office properly and efficiently
  • Manages and motivates the Front Office team in order to provide a high standard of service for guests.
  • Develops high quality relationships with guests throughout their stay.
  • Supervise and assist receptionist with their duties
  • Ensure a warm and genuine arrival and departure experience
  • Communicates important and timely company information to the overnight team each night as to keep them informed and engaged while working on Night Shift
  • Ensures front office hosts compliance with all established policies and procedures.
  • Constantly observes host interactions with guests and provides timely feedback as to develop host and improve service levels.
  • Review arrival list for all arrivals and VIPs to check room allocations, amenities and special requests.
  • Communicates VIP arrivals and in-house to front office team, and meets and engages with VIP’s both at arrival as well as while they are in-house
  • Ensure team members have current knowledge of hotel products services, facilities, events, pricing and policies and knowledge of the local area and events.
  • Serve as the Manager on Duty and available to guests at all times
  • Ensure proper staffing at all times
  • Ensure accurate communication of information and guest requests to all relevant departments
  • Handles any guest complaints or contentious issues that cannot be settled directly by team members and provides a fast solution.
  • Cooperate and coordinate teamwork with other departments
  • Ensures that all front desk employees are well presented (uniforms, personal hygiene etc), and also punctual
  • Supervises the management of debtors, group and individual guest invoicing and cash operations.
