Job Description:
Sales Manager is responsible for developing and fostering business through proactive B2B sales, direct e-mail, appointment calls and tours of the hotel for specific markets, and also developing strategic action plans for hotel to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue.
Responsibilities:
· Analysing market trends for specific markets and developing new business leads
Maximizing hotel revenue by implementing all sales action plans related to my market areas as outlined in the marketing plan
Answering all B2B (travel agencies, companies, tour operators) queries in a timely and suitable manner
Representing hotel in various events and exhibitions
Conducting daily sales calls and arrange site inspection trips to hotels for all partners
Participating in sales calls with members of sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business
Building and strengthening relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
Managing and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Acquiring and developing new business accounts and preparing sales proposals for clients.
Closely following up on all business leads within a 16-hour response time line to clients.
Preparing daily and weekly budget reports and preparing changes in budget planning and submitting them to the approval of Sales & Marketing Director
Requirements:
Degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management or related major.
Minimum 5 year experience in the sales and marketing and 2 year experience in a similar role in luxury hotels
Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Empathy towards the customers and colleagues
Analytical thinking, solution-oriented, innovative
Ability for market research and sales strategies
Pride and attention to detail
Polished personal presentation with warm, confident and hospitable personality
Fluency in Turkish and English (Russian is plus)
