About Us
BMA Technology is an engineering and manufacturing company focused on the Marine Industry. As an Electrical System Integrator, the primary concentration areas of BMA Technology are design, development, production and installation of Electrical, Automation and E-Propulsion Systems for marine applications. In more detail, our scope of supply consists of LV Switchboards, Consoles, Integrated Alarm Monitoring and Control Systems, Hybrid & E-Propulsion Solutions (Alternators, E-Drives, Motors) and Installation.
BMA Technology focuses on Research & Development, looking for ways in which we can be different, striving to design reliable, user friendly and cost-effective systems. BMA Technology is certified as a R&D Center by the Turkish Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology.
Our engineering departments combine young engineers with experienced colleagues who have robust experience in various compelling and important projects to build up teams with dynamic & professional features.
Our modern engineering and production facility, with a 2500 m² production area,is located in GOSB (Gebze Organized Industrial Zone), within reach of Tuzla, Yalova and İzmit, Turkey’s third biggest shipyard zones.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering orMechatronic Engineering, Control Engineering of reputable universities,
- Good command of both written and spoken English,
- Familiarity with CAD programs.( e.g. EPLAN)
- Simulation software MATLAB,ETAP etc.
- Experience in drive systems , power electronics , automation systems is an asset
- Experience in renewable energy sources(PV,Wind,Fuel Cell etc) and Energy storage systems, BMS, and also micro gird design is an asset
- Familiarity with the products and principles stated below:
- AC/ DC Drives (Converters/ Inverters)
- AC/ DC motors
- DCS/ PLC and HMI HW configuration
- Application programming & HMI development/ modifications for PLC systems
- Most common communication protocols e,g MODBUS-TCP, MODBUS RTU, CANOPEN, SAE J1939
- Working principle of BMS and Lion battery systems
- Working principle of Drives and Power electronics
- Marine sector experience is an asset,
- Eager to work with new technologies
- Spirit of innovation, ability to think “out of the box” in R&D projects
- Self-motivation and enthusiasm on research and self-development are must,
- Self-disciplined and sensitive to deadlines,
- Completed military service for male applicants is an asset,
- Having B class driving license,
- No restriction for traveling,
- Residing in Anatolian side of Istanbul or Çayırova, Darıca, Gebze districts of Kocaeli
Job Description
- Follows up on sectoral developments and new generation products in relation to drives and stays updated,
- Designs and configures parameters of drives s/he is responsible for,
- PLC programming for energy management, Propulsion control, microgrid, PMS
- Performs tests and comissioning procedures of drives and marine automation systems,
- If needed, conducts service, repairing and maintenance activities on site,
- Supervises special applications and tailor-made drive projects
- Supports Proposal Department by preparing single-line diagram and material list for requested system; provides technical support
