QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering orMechatronic Engineering, Control Engineering of reputable universities,
- Good command of both written and spoken English,
- Familiarity with CAD programs.( e.g. EPLAN),
- Familiarity with simulation software MATLAB, ETAP etc.,
- Preferably having experience in a similar position,
- Experience in renewable energy sources (PV, Wind, Fuel Cell etc.) and energy storage systems, BMS and also micro gird design is an asset
- Familiarity with the products and principles stated below:
- AC/ DC Drives (Converters/ Inverters)
- AC/ DC motors
- DCS/ PLC and HMI HW configuration
- Application programming & HMI development/ modifications for PLC systems
- Most common communication protocols e,g MODBUS-TCP, MODBUS RTU, CANOPEN, SAE J1939
- Working principle of BMS and Lion battery systems
- Working principle of Drives and Power electronics
- Marine sector experience is an asset,
- Eager to work with new technologies,
- Spirit of innovation, ability to think “out of the box” in R&D projects,
- Self-motivation and enthusiasm on research and self-development are must,
- Self-disciplined and sensitive to deadlines,
- Completed military service for male applicants is an asset,
- Having B class driving license,
- No restriction for traveling,
- Residing in Anatolian side of Istanbul or Çayırova, Darıca, Gebze districts of Kocaeli
Job Description
- Follows up on sectoral developments and new generation products in relation to drives and stays updated,
- Designs and configures parameters of drives s/he is responsible for,
- PLC programming for energy management, Propulsion control, microgrid, PMS,
- Performs tests and comissioning procedures of drives and marine automation systems,
- If needed, conducts service, repairing and maintenance activities on site,
- Supervises special applications and tailor-made drive projects,
- Supports Proposal Department by preparing single-line diagram and material list for requested system; provides technical support.
