Job description

Now, İltekno is seeking for an Automation Project Coordinator! Automation Project Manager duties are to manage multiple projects of varying sizes and complexities from start to finish, including project design, quality control, job scheduling, problem resolution, job completion, coordination, communication, client satisfaction activities and other related duties.
Responsibilities
- Possesses, understands and applies knowledge and experience of power system software, integration and automation, industrial controls, PLCs, industry protocols (IEC-61850, DNP, Modbus), Ethernet systems, protocol analyzers, and industry SCADA practices and related products to complete complex assignments,
- Lead in training and assisting customers with the creation, design configuration, validation, installation, commissioning and operation of automation and/or protection systems,
- Knowledge of control and automation systems
- Creating the entire shop drawings for control systems (PLCs) including the electrical part using E-Plan & AutoCAD Electrical software,
- Creating control & electrical panel internal layouts, positioning of various components, wiring, etc. using E-Plan & AutoCAD Electrical,
- Lead in assigning, completing and implementing work within agreed upon scope, schedule and budget to a high level of quality and safety,
- Assist in the identification, preparation and presentation of successful proposals for equipment, services, and systems,
- Performing Integrated System testing (FAT), startup and commissioning, troubleshooting,
- Providing technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities,
- Accountable to achieve customer satisfaction by delivering a project safely, on time, within budget and to the desired performance or quality standards determined by the customer,
- Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for reliability engineering and technical work,
- Work with suppliers and manufacturing plants to solve product reliability issues,
- Mentor and develop professional staff. May supervise as necessary,
- Contribute to sales projects by providing own expertise and the technical knowledge,
- Coordinate and pursue project-specific billing; coordinate with Accounting team and Operations Manager,
- Schedule project-specific commissioning resources and provide commissioning documentation,
- Other duties as assigned,
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree / Master’s in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or relevant discipline
- 5+ years relevant application experience with electric power systems, industry practices, and software, integration and automation, industrial controls, PLCs, industry protocols (IEC-61850, DNP, Modbus), Ethernet systems, protocol analyzers, and industry SCADA practices and philosophies,
- Extensive experience in PLC and data acquisition systems, distributed control systems (DCS), mechanical operation of equipment and process controls,
- Demonstrated knowledge of electric power system protection and control, integration and/or automation and communications applications,
- Demonstrated proven knowledge of electric power system design, studies, information and communication technology and protective relay applications,
- Electrical utility, industrial plant, consulting engineering, or system integrator experience is preferred,
- Project management experience is expected,
- Knowledge of project management tracking software,
- Knowledge on other similar tools like Creo (Electrical), EPlan Electric P8, will be added advantage,
- Experience with plant control systems (i.e. DCS, PCS, HMI, SCADA), Compact Logix PLC, Factory Talk, TIA Portal, and similar technologies,
- Working knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies,
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD,
- Willing to travel both domestically and internationally as need,
- Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills,
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities,
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment,
- Advanced level communication skills in English,
- Able to work in Kocaeli – Gebze,
