QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Six Senses Kaplankaya presents a mosaic of architecture, history and art, and is within easy reach many famed archaeological sites. There are 141 guestrooms including six suites (75 in the main building and 66 Ridge Villas), all boasting stunning views to the Aegean Sea. Aegean & Mediterranean-inspired fresh, sustainable cuisine interwoven with Turkish elements and flavors is the overarching theme of three dining venues, introducing ‘Eat with Six Senses’ concept by sourcing local and fresh products. The expansive 10,000 square meter Spa, Fitness and Health & Healing Center offers guests and residents a truly integrative approach to optimal wellness. Scope

  • Ensure that operating and equipment is maintained to a good standard with minimum breakage.
  • Have a complete understanding of the hotel’s handbook and adhere to the regulations contained within it.
  • Interacts with management of other departments within areas of responsibility and develops solid working relationships with them.
  • Assists in the building of an efficient team of colleagues by taking an active interest in their welfare, safety, training and development.
  • Always strive to perform any additional duties and responsibilities given by team member.
  • Respond to change in the departmental function as dictated by the industry, company or resort.
  • Develop enthusiastically satisfied guests all the time
  • Welcome and establish relationships with guests.
  • Discover guest needs and appropriately suggest products with every guest to enhance service and meet sales goals.
  • Offer guest demonstrations and samples using brewing equipment.
  • Complete inventory counts monthly or as directed.
  • Be responsible for self-initiated learning.
  • Provide quality beverages consistently for all guests.
  • Prepare and serve beverages to specific standards.
  • Develop Quality Assurance procedures for Kitchen and food preparation.
  • Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing products.
  • Present oneself professionally and demonstrate clear communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position in a luxury hotel setting.
  • Excellent command on both English and Turkish.
  • Additional languages are beneficial.
  • Good knowledge of LQA Standards.
  • Able to converse and resolve guest complaints/issues in a calm and professional manner.
  • Can identify priorities and effectively execute tasks/projects accordingly and in a timely manner.
  • Excellent sense of product and service quality, a passion for excellence and an understanding of the sophisticated needs of the luxury customer.
  • Ability to train and supervise staff and communicate well with management and guests.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Energetic with a positive attitude.
