We are looking for an “Beverage Manager” who is dynamic, creative, pro-active, analytical approached, enthusiastic, innovative and has strong problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
· Create and update all beverage lists including the signature cocktails in coordination with the Director of Food and Beverage.
· Oversee all bars in the outlets in terms of bar operations, product availability, bar mice en place, cleanliness & hygiene, and staff issues.
· Train bar staff on all aspects of the bar operations.
· Determine and update when it’s necessary the bar par stock levels.
· Ensure bar staff are on shift and has a proper uniform in daily basis.
· Store open bottles properly to maintain strong taste.
· Check if all bar fridges and wine cellar and ensure it’s fully-stocked, in daily basis.
· Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment on a daily basis in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
· Create and price banquet & events beverage lists.
· Ensure beverage costs are continuously under control.
Qualifications
· BSc degree in Business Administration, Economics and/or Hospitality Management,
· Minimum 3-5 years of 5-star luxury hotel or a high-end restaurant experience in a similar position,
· Extensive knowledge of liqueurs, spirits, and all non-alcoholic beverages,
· Having an extensive and strong knowledge of wines including the local ones,
· Knowledge of local vineyards and wineries,
· Ability to create tasteful food and wine pairings,
· Excellent command of both written and spoken English,
· Knowledgeable about Food & Beverage operations,
· Ability to use Micros POS,
· Having advanced communication skills,
· High ability to be motivated towards common goals
· Successful, dynamic and proactive in human relations
· Presentable, giving importance to its appearance and personal hygiene / care
· Having a guest-oriented service approach,
· Prone to teamwork,
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment,
· High sense of responsibility, adaptability to strict deadlines,
· Ability to work, weekend, nights and holidays.
