Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst in the EMEA Application Team, you will take part in the transformation of IT systems and be responsible for engaging stakeholders and customers to define business requirements. You will also contribute to the design of solutions across the organisation and applications in an exciting fast-paced environment as well as supporting the day-to-day running of our key applications.

Our Application Team is still evolving, and you will be given an opportunity to be involved in the development of processes and practices.

Your responsibilities

Working and liaising with business users, application developers/vendors, testers and project managers from the requirements gathering and design stages through to testing and deployment
Eliciting and analysing business requirements, creating and maintaining detailed documentation, process and data modelling, production of use cases and user guide
Analysing and verifying requirements for completeness, consistency, feasibility, and conformity to standards
Identifying issues and facilitating their resolution; and exploring new ways of working and technologies that will enable the team to become more efficient and deliver a higher quality work
Working closely with IT colleagues to provide a seamless and efficient service to the business
Acquiring detailed knowledge of Kerry’s business, processes, and IT applications

Your profile

IT related degree or equivalent business experience
Proven work experience as a Business Analyst (1-2 years’ experience)
Experience in process mapping as per BPMN standards is preferable
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
Strong facilitation and influencing skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, anticipate issues, and respond to unforeseen problems
Self-starter who can proactively engage with the business to produce outputs without the need for micromanagement
Team player able to work constructively with project managers, business analysts, developers, suppliers, testers, business stakeholders and management

Desirable Knowledge

Experience in SQL
Experience in Power BI
Experience of Agile toolsets such as JIRA and Confluence
Business analysis experience gained in e-commerce or logistics or supply chain is highly advantageous
Experience with technical requirements analysis, modelling and verification
