QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for 'Cabin and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) Sr. Engineer' for our growing organization, will take a role in R&D department with the qualifications below;
- Graduated from related engineering department, especially in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in tractor cabin design and integration
- Fluent in English - both verbal and written
- No military obligation for male candidates
- SAP knowledge is a plus
- Good team player, self-diciplined, result-oriented with planing and organization skills
- Able to co-ordinate with different functions and suppliers for project completion
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonel skills
Job Decription and Technical Qualifications
- Work experience in tractor cabin design, cab packaging on tractor and cab frame structural design complying with ROPS and FOPS requirements, (Roll over protective structure & Falling object protective structure)
- Work experience in modular concept generation and detailed design of tractor cabin and related aggregates such as interior layout, trims, roof liners, dashboard, vibration mounts, roof, glazing, doors, windows, etc.
- Working knowledge and integration of sub systems such as cab lighting, wiper system, linkages for controls such as brake, clutch, PTO, 4WD, hydraulic controls, etc.
- Knowledge on Cab vibration mounts and mounting integration with tractor
- Experience on Cabin NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) management and sealing.
- Knowledge on cab styling – interior and exterior, matching with tractor styling
- Expertise in operator space management and colour harmonisation of interiors
- Experience in HVAC system integration with tractor and cabin
- Knowledge on tractor cab material requirements, testing requirements, homologation requirements and statutory & regulatory requirements of tractors.
- Work experience in Creation and management of cabin & HVAC systems layout, detailed design, design verification using appropriate design tools, release of drawings and other design documents and engineering bill of materials
- Work experience in GD&T, Stack-up analysis, Design calculations, FEA, DFMEA, Design for assembly, Design for manufacturing considering safety, serviceability, ergonomics and aesthetics
- Component / aggregate design complying to performance, quality and cost targets
- Experience in root cause analysis, problem resolution / field issues, etc.
- Working knowledge in Design, analysis and Drafting tools (ProE-Creo and other 2D/3D modelling softwares, ANSYS, NASTRAN, HYPERWORKS, etc.) and MS Office Tools.
- Knowledge on project management, new product introduction process, preparation of Project MIS reports, etc.
