QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are searching for Category Specialist for our growing organization;

The successful candidate should have the following experience and skills;

  • University degree preferably in Business Administration / Marketing
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in category management (Trade Marketing experience is a plus)
  • Experience in FMCG sector is a plus
  • Good command of MS Office applications
  • Advanced knowledge of English


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop and implement the strategy of the category in line with market needs and trends
  • Analyze market share in order to come up with strong business conclusions and advise on steps for improvement
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of category/brand performance by channel and create plans to provide the opportunity.
  • Develop tailored marketing strategies for the brand awareness and sales
  • Work proactively with Suppliers on developing stretch Joint sales plans by channel in order to achieve the desired growth
  • Plan new product launches with the sales team
  • Lead 360 degree marketing activities through third party agencies
  • Prepare advertising materials to promote products in store and fairs
  • Obtain the aligned budgets from Suppliers and manage the funds internally
  • Conduct periodic store checks on the respective category / brand followed by sharing thorough documentation to exploit the in store opportunity.
  • Prepare sales forecast based on the aligned sales plan with Suppliers.
