QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are searching for Category Specialist for our growing organization;
The successful candidate should have the following experience and skills;
- University degree preferably in Business Administration / Marketing
- Minimum of 1 year experience in category management (Trade Marketing experience is a plus)
- Experience in FMCG sector is a plus
- Good command of MS Office applications
- Advanced knowledge of English
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Develop and implement the strategy of the category in line with market needs and trends
- Analyze market share in order to come up with strong business conclusions and advise on steps for improvement
- Conduct in-depth analysis of category/brand performance by channel and create plans to provide the opportunity.
- Develop tailored marketing strategies for the brand awareness and sales
- Work proactively with Suppliers on developing stretch Joint sales plans by channel in order to achieve the desired growth
- Plan new product launches with the sales team
- Lead 360 degree marketing activities through third party agencies
- Prepare advertising materials to promote products in store and fairs
- Obtain the aligned budgets from Suppliers and manage the funds internally
- Conduct periodic store checks on the respective category / brand followed by sharing thorough documentation to exploit the in store opportunity.
- Prepare sales forecast based on the aligned sales plan with Suppliers.
