QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Intertoll Turkey İşletme ve Bakım A.Ş. – İstanbul, 1915 Çanakkale Bridge and Motorway Project.

Intertoll is an independent toll and motorway infrastructure developer and operator, with its head office in Budapest, Hungary.

We are looking for a Chief Accountant and Revenue Controlling who is going to take role in the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Period of 1915 Çanakkale Bridge and Motorway Project at Lapseki-Çanakkale location. The aim of the position is to supervise the entirety of the Company’s finance activities in order to ensure the effective control of costs.

The main responsibilities are:

- Handling the complete accounting departments and their employees

- Coordinating with the heads of other departments

- Knowing all the latest accounting laws and procedures,

- Developing accounting procedures specific to their own company,

- Teaching the new accounting programs to the new employees,

- Preparing Financial Statements of the Company in accordance with TFRS and IFRS

- Supervision over reliability and correctness of Company books in accordance with TFRS and IFRS, tax regulations and Company’s Accounting Policy;

- Playing a key role in tax and independent auditor relations;

- Financial reporting to client as required under the Operations and Maintenance Contract;

- Timely preparation of Company tax statements in accordance with tax regulations;

- Assisting CFO in the preparation of Company annual, monthly and quarterly financial reporting

- Assisting with risk management processes

- Preparation of insurance claims.

- Preparation of required financial reports according to TFRS for the legal authorities

- Preparation of money transfers, in particular transfer of taxes due and calculations for those transfers;

- Preparation of company cash flow statements;

- Administering payment of bills, invoices and staff and volunteer expense claims,

- Booking bank transactions and current cooperation with banks,

- Managing the Company petty cash,

- Performing other duties allocated by CFO

- Reporting directly to CFO


Expected qualifications:

- Having SMMM License or at least being SMMM nominee would be considered

- Experienced ERP and budget reporting tools user, Netsuite and Prophix experience would be a strong asset

- Bachelor’s degree from related departments

- 5 years of experience in similar positions

- Excellent command of Turkish and English both verbal and written

- Proficiency in MS Office Applications

- Strong organization, planning and communication skills

- Flexible and open to new perspectives
