QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available
- Provision, configure and maintain cloud infrastructure defined as code
- Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools
- Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of infrastructure and systems
- Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization
- Continuously improve security and ensure we meet compliance requirements
- Contribute with automation and scripting languages
- Classical network & Linux server administration tasks on the local environments
- Management of platform penetration test processes with 3rd party service providers.
Qualifications
- BSc degree in Engineering
- Min. 3 years of relevant Platform Engineering, SRE or Cloud Operations work experience in production environments
- Strong understanding of how to secure environments and meet compliance requirements
- Comprehensive understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, DNS, VPN, etc.) and common server security vulnerabilities.
- Experience in building distributed, failure-resistant architecture, including disaster recovery, backups, failover, etc.
- Owned the uptime of distributed cloud-based systems
- Experience with “Infrastructure-as-a-code” and automation/configuration management tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Chef, Ansible, Puppet
- Operational understanding of monitoring systems and time-series databases like Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch
- Experience with administering Linux systems and networks in a production environment
- Experience with scripting in automation projects
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Results-driven with strong commitment to complete task
- SaaS product experience on a major vendor cloud
- Cloud certification(s)
- Cloud cost management and optimization experience.
