QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Six Senses Vision & Values

  • Fully understand and embrace Six Senses company vision and values and its application in all tasks associated with the host’s duty,
  • Adhere to all Six Senses brand standards ensuring successful communication across all levels of the operation

Specific

  • Provide guests with high quality Concierge recommendations and service on a daily basis in accordance with established departmental standards,
  • Stay informed regarding local history, activities, and restaurants so that high quality Concierge recommendations can be made,
  • Stay informed regarding hotel information as well as VIPs arriving and in house on a daily basis,
  • Ensure that all confirmed activities are tracked in Concierge database and that confirmation letters are sent to guests in a timely fashion,
  • Assist Guest Services, Front Desk and PBX as needed with both answering phone calls and assisting guests at the resort as needed to include checking guests in and out, making reservations, and delivering and/or retrieving bags from guest rooms,
  • Maintain positive relationships with Concierge related vendors as to benefit the guest experience,

General

  • Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services (such as transportation, restaurant and/or activity reservations, etc) by making arrangements and identifying appropriate providers,
  • Respond to special requests from guests with unique needs and follow up to ensure satisfaction,
  • Gather, summarize, and provide information to guests about the property and the surrounding area amenities, including special events and activities,
  • Contact the appropriate person or department (such as Bellperson, Housekeeping, etc) as necessary to resolve a guest call, request, or problem and answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, and concerns,
  • Process and log guest packages, notifying guests as appropriate, and following through to ensure packages are properly delivered,
  • Assist other departments within the front office and resort as needed to include answering phones, checking guests in and out, and delivering and/or retrieving luggage from guest rooms as needed,
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with Concierge related vendors and act as an ambassador for the hotel as well as Six Senses,
  • Stay informed regarding hotel and local area information, as well as VIP guests arriving and departing the resort each day
